Heavenly Father,
Thank you for bringing this precious soul to me. I ask that you would empty me of myself and fill me with your Spirit. Help me be moved by the Spirit to provide the words, ideas, information, and direction that this soul needs to discover the deep and lasting healing they seek. I beg you to guide my heart, my thoughts, my words, and my desires. As this soul and I move forward together, may we always ground our interactions with prayer.
Your creation is complex. So, naturally, it follows that healing is complex as well. Help us to remember that complex does not mean impossible. I pray that you will stir in us a desire to look at all options together so this soul can decide what is best for them in this season of healing.
Lord, I ask that you use me simply as a guide. I thank you for the dark journey you allowed me to walk because it has taught me so much about what healing really is and that the systems of men are wrought with reductionist views. Help us to not limit your power. Grant us the privilege of seeing your path for this soul's healing journey.
We thank you for the opportunity of this new connection and we walk in obedience of You and each step in partnership with the Spirit. We give you praise and glory for what is to come, regardless of whether it meets our expectations or not. Help us to remember that we are a small piece of a very grand story that has been unfolding since the beginning of time.
